Kitchen Staff- Douglas

Kitchen Staff are responsible for duties required to serve congregate and home delivered meals, including food preparation, facility cleaning, and supply organization. This position involves significant teamwork and collaborative efforts with staff, volunteers, participants, and the community.

 

Requirements :

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to work as part of a team

  • Kitchen experience preferred, but not required

Kitchen Coordinator- Douglas

The Kitchen Coordinator works with the Lead Cook in planning and preparing meals for congregate dining and home delivered meals, supervising staff, ensuring proper food storage, and cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities. This position involves significant teamwork and collaborative efforts with staff, volunteers, participants, and the community.

 

Requirements :

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to work as part of a team

  • Must have at least one year of kitchen experience

CCAS Activities Director

Under the direction of the CCAS Director, and in collaboration with the Site Managers, the Activities Director will plan, promote, schedule, and conduct programs, activities, and classes, in alignment with Converse County Aging Services’ mission and goals. They will develop programming for our senior center participants, with a focus on empowerment and independence. They will assist the center teams in logistical planning, providing congregate meals, and other services as needed. This position involves significant teamwork and collaborative efforts with staff, volunteers, participants, and the community.

CCAS Operations Manager

The Operations Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for managing staff, developing policies and procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction, and ensuring that CCAS policies and procedures are followed. The Operations Manager plays an essential role in ensuring strong communication between the Douglas and Glenrock Senior Centers and the Executive Director, in order to carry out the mission of CCAS. The Operations Manager must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and be flexible to handle various staffing and participant situations as they arise.
